Provided are an electric energy management system, an electric energy monitor recognition program and a recording medium, which can shorten the time required for a recognition operation of each electric energy monitor in a management apparatus when a plurality of electric energy monitors exist. Each electric energy monitor (10) includes a normal mode for transmitting at least an electric energy under individual communication conditions and a setting mode for allowing a PC (30) to recognize each electric energy monitor (10). The PC (30) comprises an electric energy monitor recognition tool (34) which transmits a command for switching each electric energy monitor (10) from the normal mode to the setting mode by using communication conditions of all the combinations of each electric energy monitor (10), selects a desired electric energy monitor (10) by using a manufacturing number set in advance in each electric energy monitor (10) and communicates with respect to the selected electric energy monitor (10).
