PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container weight measuring system capable of eliminating human-caused mistakes and measuring the weight of a container reliably and with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The container weight measuring system includes: weight measuring means 12 for measuring a total weight including a container 54, a trailer 52, and a head 50; recognition information acquisition means 14 for acquiring recognition information of the head 50 and the trailer 52; a memory unit 18 for storing a head-trailer database 18a in which the weight of the head 50 and the trailer 52 scheduled to arrive at a container terminal is saved in association with the recognition information; a primary storage unit 20 for storing the total weight measured by the weight measuring means 12; and computing means 16 having a control unit 22 for retrieving a corresponding weight of the head 50 and the trailer 52 from the head-trailer database 18a on the basis of the recognition information, subtracting the retrieved weight of the head 50 and the trailer 52 from the total weight, and carrying out processing for calculating a weight of the container 54 alone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
