PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc deficiency estimating device that can estimate a state of zinc deficiency in blood serum without actually measuring the zinc concentration.SOLUTION: A zinc deficiency estimating device that estimates a state of zinc deficiency in blood serum is equipped with determined value memory means that stores the determined values of checkup items different from those of zinc concentration actual measurement, actually measured value memory means that stores the determined values of the actual checkup items and estimating means that estimates the presence or absence of a zinc deficiency state; the checkup items include specimen checkup items, which are checkup items based on specimen checkup; and the estimating means estimates the presence of a zinc deficiency state if, out of the actually measured values stored in the actually measured value memory means, a value lower than the corresponding determined value stored in the determined value memory means in one or more checkup items is found.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
