PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve bitterness of a tomato-containing beverage with a high sugar acid ratio.SOLUTION: Bitterness in a tomato-containing beverage is masked by mixing spices or spice extracts. The bitterness is felt in a last half of a drinking process (bitterness as aftertaste). A sugar acid ratio of the tomato-containing beverage is 14.0 or more. The beverage contains at least one of spices and spice extracts. The spices are cinnamon, basil and vanilla.SELECTED DRAWING: None
