PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask type picture teaching material that enables a hollow mask effect as well as a picture to be learned by drawing a face on a concave surface, and that prevents bumpiness from drawing a picture to facilitate drawing.SOLUTION: A mask type picture teaching material 100 of the present invention includes: a concave surface 1 for a face, with the surface concavely formed to enable at least a human or an animal face to be drawn; and a frame part 3 that projects to the reverse side of the concave surface 1 for a face and that supports the concave surface 1 at least at three points. The mask type teaching material is desirably equipped with a plane part 2 that extends outward from around the concave surface 1 for a face and that can be used for drawing in the periphery of the face drawn on the space of the concave surface 1 for a face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
