PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimum value of a variable gain or a feed-forward signal for the control device of a plant having a control logic having the variable gain or the feed-forward signal.SOLUTION: A control gain optimization system of a plant control device of this invention comprises: a load setting unit 11 for gradually changing the load of a plant; a data acquisition unit 12 for acquiring plant data at this time; a control setting value determination unit 13 for calculating the optimum value of a control gain or a feed-forward signal with the data of each load by using the plant data divided for each load; a control setting value database 14 for storing the optimum value of the control gain or the feed-forward signal correspondingly to the load; and a control device 2 for taking in the data stored in the control setting value database, the control device 2 having a function generator 21 or 25 for calculating a control gain or a feed-forward signal that is optimal for a current load.
