PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for preparing a steel making production schedule, capable of preventing the search efficiency of the steel making production schedule from being reduced; an operation method; and a method for manufacturing a steel making product.SOLUTION: A device for preparing a steel making production schedule comprises: a data input section (101) for reading continuous casting set data related to a continuous casting set including at least one or more charges and charge data related to the charges; a formulation section (102) for formulating essential must conditions when the steel making production schedule is prepared and want conditions having the degree of sufficiency quantified by an evaluation value on the basis of the continuous casting set data and charge data read by the data input section (101); and a schedule preparation section (103) for satisfying the must conditions and performing search processing so as to minimize the evaluation value to prepare the steel making production schedule.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
