PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen permeation membrane whose performance is improved by using stabilized zirconia as an oxygen ion conductor and a lanthanum chromite-based composite oxide as an electronic conductor.SOLUTION: An oxygen permeation membrane 10 has a mixed conductive layer containing stabilized zirconia and a lanthanum chromite-based composite oxide. The lanthanum chromite-based composite oxide is an oxide exhibited as composition formula: LaMCrO(where, M is an element selected from among alkaline earth metals except magnesium (Mg); 0≤x≤0.3 is satisfied; and z is optional) and/or composition formula: LaCrMgO(where, 0≤x≤0.3 is satisfied; and z is optional). In an x-ray diffraction pattern where CuKα associated with at least one surface of the mixed conductive layer is a beam source, an integrated intensity ratio of the main peak of LaZrOto the main peak of the stabilized zirconia is 2% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
