CENTRAL BLOOD PRESSURE MEASUREMENT DEVICE AND CENTRAL BLOOD PRESSURE MEASUREMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a central blood pressure measurement device capable of accurately measuring central blood pressure.SOLUTION: The central blood pressure is estimated by using, a peripheral arterial pulse wave P1 and an aorta pulse wave P2. First, a tidal wave (main peak) P2X of the aorta pulse wave P2 is detected. Then, an amplitude (corresponding to blood pressure) of the peripheral arterial pulse wave P1 at a time point t1 when the tidal wave (main peak) P2X is detected, is estimated as the central blood pressure. Thereby, even when the tidal wave P1X of the peripheral arterial pulse wave P1 is not expressed as a clear change point, the central blood pressure can be measured accurately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
