PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge foreign bodies and reduce a size of whole device.SOLUTION: A money reception structure of a bill processing device comprises a stopper member 20 which is provided so as to move to and retreat from a money reception path 11 where bills received on a money reception port 2 pass, which holds the bills when the stopper member moves to the money reception path 11, and which permits the bills to be sent to a transport path 40 when the stopper member retreats from the money reception path 11. The money reception path 11 is formed in a manner of being gradually downward inclined as separating from the money reception port 2. The stopper member 20 comprises discharge opening parts 24, 25 which communicate the money reception path 11 and a discharge path 4 when the stopper member moves to the money reception path 11. The money reception structure further comprises a pressing member 30 which is provided so as to move to and retreat from the money reception path 11, which can open the discharge opening parts 24, 25 of the stopper member 20 which moves to the money reception path 11 when the pressing member retreats from the money reception path 11, and which can press the bills to a feeding roller 12 disposed to face the pressing member through the money reception path 11 when the pressing member moves to the money reception path 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
