PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a conductive paste which makes possible to ensure the continuity of an internal electrode, to suppress the variation in electrostatic capacitance, and to reduce a dielectric loss; and a multilayer ceramic capacitor arranged by use of such a conductive paste.SOLUTION: A conductive paste for a multilayer ceramic electronic part comprises: ceramic powder; conductive metal powder; and a binder resin. The conductive metal powder has an average particle diameter of 0.1-0.4 m. As to a firing condition when firing a green sheet laminate formed by laminating green sheets each including ceramic powder for a green sheet and a binder resin and having a surface printed with the conductive paste for a multilayer ceramic electronic part, a temperature-rise gradient to a firing highest temperature after a binder-removing firing process and an addition amount of the ceramic powder to 100 pts.wt. of the nickel powder are in a particular relation.SELECTED DRAWING: None
