PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a cable-stayed bridge capable of installing a main digit between side span preceding the center span without building a plurality of intermediate piers at the side span even when the span length of the side span is large.SOLUTION: As illustrated in Figs. 3(A) and (B), an intermediate pier 7 is built, and a temporary support 21 is provided to the intermediate pier 7 between a main pier 5 and an end pier 6. Subsequently, a temporal diagonal member 22 is installed by extending from the intermediate pier 7 in both bridge axial directions between a PC digit 4A and the temporary support 21 by a cantilever extension method as illustrated in Figs. 3(C) and (D).
