Creation a fishing line insertion aid of the type mentioned above by means of which a fishing line can be rapidly and easily threaded into the rod rings of the fishing rod is achieved by a substantially elongated body (110) into which a line notch (112) is embedded for fastening of the fishing line (14) in a clamping manner.
