The present invention relates to a method and system for managing professionals in an organization capable of increasing the productivity, efficiency, motivation and outcomes of users and the organization itself. The method of the present invention includes the steps of: (a) defining indicators and benchmarks (100) in a professional management system implemented by a computer program; (b) enter data and information related to professionals (110) into said management system; (c) process (120) the data and information entered in step (b) and issue (130) results of analysis of that data and information considering the indicators and parameters defined in step (a); and (d) reward (140) professionals through a pre-defined reward system in the people management system based on and according to the results found in step (c).
