The present invention relates to a method of spraying aqueous solutions of agrochemicals comprising at least one cellulose ether, wherein the cellulose ether is a hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (mhec) polymer. The present invention also relates to a method of reducing spray dispersion while spraying aqueous solutions. the method comprises: providing a mhec polymer; combining the mhec polymer with at least one agricultural chemical and water to obtain an aqueous solution; and spraying the aqueous solution. In addition, the present invention also relates to a method of providing good rain-wash resistance of an agricultural chemical that has been deposited on a surface by spraying. This method comprises: providing a mhec polymer; combining the mhec polymer with at least one agricultural chemical and water to obtain an aqueous solution; spraying the aqueous solution on a surface; and evaporating at least a portion of the water from the droplets of aqueous solution that were deposited on the surface by said spraying.
