The group of inventions relates to medicine, more specifically to laboratory diagnosis, and concerns a method for the diagnosis of diseases involving increased cell death, and a set for its implementation. A sample of blood plasma is obtained from a person, then isothermal amplification of plasma nucleic acids is carried out. Next, carry out the purification of nucleic acids from the reaction mixture and conduct a quantitative analysis of nucleic acids by the method of polymerase chain reaction in real time. Determine the coefficient K in samples: where Ct is the value of the threshold cycle of the polymerase chain reaction. Next, compare the coefficient K with the reference value and diagnose the disease, accompanied by increased cell death, when the value of the coefficient K is less than the reference value. A kit is also proposed for carrying out a method for diagnosing diseases involving increased cell death. The group of inventions allows for minimally invasive diagnosis of diseases accompanied by increased cell death, with high sensitivity, at any stages of the disease, including early stages at which clinical symptoms are absent.
