BUCKLE BLOCK FOR CAST-IRON LINING OF METRO TUNNELS

The invention is directed to provision of laying various utility lines (air ducts, drain pipes, cables, etc.) on buckle blocks so as to ensure their accident-free operation and easy accessibility. A buckle block for cast-iron lining of metro tunnels consists of a reinforced-concrete part and a metal buckle plate made as a box-like iron casting of a rectangular shape, with a flat rectangular backboard that passes into radial boards so that two inner caissons are formed. On the outer side, the casting is provided with stiffening ribs defining outer caissons, the parallel and radial boards of the inner caissons having holes for fastening elements and embossed grooves for hermetic sealing of joints. One of the outer caissons of the plate has an opening for mounting an operating member of a transport manipulator. The metal buckle plate has a through profiled trough embedded in one of the outer caissons, the longitudinal axis of the trough being parallel to the central axis of the buckle block. Over the contour of the trough, on the side of the parallel boards, embossed grooves are provided aligned with the embossed grooves of the parallel boards of the buckle plate for subsequent sealing of joints between said buckle plate boards. The buckle block of the described design provides reliable laying of various utility lines along the tunnel and ensures their accident-free operation.
