Novelty: an integrated in-situ process for the selective conversion of naphtha olefins into strong anti-knock mixtures of alcohols with environmentally friendly chemical reactions and no use of additives is disclosed. 3-stage process: 1) the olefins of a light fraction of catalytic fuel refinery naphtha is converted into respective aldehydes in aqueous environment; 2) the thus produced catalytic aldehydes are converted into respective alcohols in aqueous environment; 3) modelling and simulation of the process in question, aiming at the scale-up and application thereof in refineries (industrial level). Purpose: the final product is liable to replace noxious oxygen-containing ether additives (alkyl-tertiary-alkyl ethers -MTBE, ETBE, TAME) in refinery’s gasoline mixing tanks.
