MECHANISM FOR THE IMMOBILIZATION OF A DOOR AT A DESIRED OPENING DEGREE POSITION

Novelty: a mechanism aiming at immobilizing a door at the desired opening degree position is disclosed. Constitution: the base 1 is steadily attached to the door’s base via a double-faced self-adhesive means 4 and comprises the bent rectangular end surface 1a embracing the door’s bottom and the moving means 2 rotating around the shaft A of the base body 1 for bringing the sole 25 in contact with the floor for the door to be immobilized. The ascent and descent of the moving means 2 are actuated by the foot lever 22. The sole 25 or its plastic cover 3 is a cycle’s arc having its centre K confined aside or over the centre A. The angle Γ, which is formed by the vertical and straight line connecting the adhesion point Δ of the sole 25 on the ground with the center A, is found in a field of values ranging from 5 to 25 degrees. The invented mechanism comprises the spring (30,30α,30β) exerting pressure to the sole 25 when this last is adhered on the ground and an arrangement terminating the rotation of the moving body 2 after return of this last to the non-operative position.
