The invention relates to chemistry and medicine, namely to biologically active coordinative copper (II) compounds from the class of transition metal thiosemicarbazonates, which can be used as preparations with antifungal properties.Summary of the invention consists in that nitrato-{N-(prop-2-en-1-yl)-N`-[1-(pyridine-2-yl)-ethylidene]-carbamohydrazonethioato}imidazolecopper monohydrate and nitrato-{N-(prop-2-en-1-yl)-N`-[1-(pyridine-2-yl)-ethylidene]-carbamohydrazonethioato}-(3,4-dimethylpyridine)copper are proposed for use as Cryptococcus neoformans fungi proliferation inhibitors.
