The present disclosure is related to a method for the synthesis of the Ag/TiO2-3-50 nanocatalyst, comprising the following steps: preparing a solution with anhydrous butanol, deionized water and polyvinylpyrrolidone. The solution is poured into a constant stirring system at 70°C; titanium isopropoxide and silver nitrate are added; the product is submerged at 10°C; the solvent is removed, allowing drying and then exposed to heat treatment.
