The purpose of the notification is to obtain damascenin from Damascus seeds (Nigella damascena).That way is,that the oil obtained from the seeds of Damascus by extraction is separated using a high -performance anti -current chromatography with a two -phase mixture of skin solventsed Oil ether, acetonitrile, acetone, occurring respectively in relation to 1.5 /0.75 /0.25 to 2.5 /1.75 /0.75 (v /v /v) favourable 2 /1.5 /0.5 (v /v /v), where the essential oil in quantities from 0,5% to 5%, favourably 1,6% to 3,2% before separation, dissolve in a sample of solvents of the same composition as a two -phase mixture of solvents or in one of the phases of the solvent system used,and the separation is carried out in the reverse phase system, using the rotation of the column until the equilibrium of the phases is attained, at a temperature 25 -35oC favourable 26oC,After separation, the damascenin fractions are collected.
