The present invention relates to antibody molecules having specificity for antigenic determinants of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFalpha). An effector or reporter molecule, preferably methoxypoly(ethyleneglycol), is attached at the C-terminal end of the heavy chain of these molecules. The invention further relates to therapeutic use of the antibody molecules for the treatment of diseases mediated by TNFalpha.
