An increased use safety landing gangway (1, 50), particularly for boats, comprising a first transit platform (2; 51) with a longitudinal axis (Z), which has an upper walkable surface (3), and a gripping and/or support front rod (4; 52), which is coupled to each side edge (2a, 2b; 51a, 51b) of the first transit platform (2; 51) in correspondence with the access end (2c) of the first transit platform (2; 51) and operatively connected to actuation means (5; 55) that rotate it from/to a rest position, according to which the gripping and/or support front rod (4; 52) lies along the longitudinal axis (Z) of the first transit platform (2; 51), to/from an operating position, according to which the gripping and/or support front rod (4; 52) protrudes upwardly from each side edge (2a, 2b; 51a, 51b) of the first transit platform (2; 51), according to a direction (Y) incident with the longitudinal axis (Z) of the first transit platform (2, 51), thus making the front rod (4; 52) available to the hand grip of people.
