The presented utility model relates to a copra dryer using hot air as the drying medium, and comprising of a combustion chamber being provided with means to accept a charge of combustible woody materials as fuel, air ducts attached to the combustion chamber serving as intake port and exhaust port, and a chimney open to and extending upwardly thereof A heat exchanger is disposed inside said air duct having plurality of fire tubes arranged in vertical position adapted to received flue gas from the combustion chamber directing to the said chimney. A drying chamber attached to the exhaust pert adapted to received hot air coming from said heat exchanger, said drying chamber includes a plurality of baffle plates integrally attached inside to streamline the flow path of hot air, and an air exhaust stack extending on top from said chamber.
