The utility model disclosed the process of producing seaweed (Eucheuma spinusom) crackling comprises of four flavors (plain, hot and spicy, sweet and sour and barbecue), a seaweed crackling that is free from synthetic preservative, nutritious for snacks wherein the process comprising the steps of cutting and washing seaweed; spreading and sun drying until it is bleached; soaking corn grits and dried seaweed in water over night; chopping seaweed and garlic finely to facilitate grinding; mixing chopped seaweed and garlic to drained corn grits; adding salt and flavoring ingredients distinct for each flavor; grinding the mixed ingredients; stirring well to produce homogeneous mixture; pouring 3-4 tablespoon of the mixture into tray molder; steaming for 2 minutes until the molded mixture is transparent; cutting steamed mixture into desired sizes; loosening the steamed mixture from the molder; sun-drying steamed mixture in tray; deep-frying dried steamed mixture; draining excess oil.
