An eNB (104, 605) configured to track geographic compartment information for one or more user equipment (102), the eNB (104, 605) comprising a hardware processing circuitry (306) configured for: for each of the user equipment (102): from a set of candidate geographical compartments (615, 620, 625, ..., 655), select a candidate geographical compartment for the user equipment (102); receiving one or more packets from the user equipment (102) that include a signal quality indicator received for the user equipment (102) associated with a reception, in the user equipment (102), of a wireless signal transmitted from the eNB (104, 605); for each of the candidate geographical compartments (615, 620, 625, ..., 655), determine a compartment average of the signal quality indicators received for the user equipment (102) for which the compartment is selected geographical candidate; and for each of the candidate geographic compartments (615, 620, 625, ..., 655), when a number of user equipment (102) for which the candidate geographic compartment is selected is not less than a distribution threshold of user equipment (545), send geographic compartment performance data (710, 740) to the candidate geographic compartment to a trace collection entity, TCE; characterized in that the hardware processing circuitry (306) is further configured to: for each of the user equipment (102), measure an angle of arrival for the user equipment (102) and a propagation delay for the user equipment user (102) based on the reception of the one or more packages from the user equipment (102), in which the selection of the candidate geographical compartment from said set of candidate geographical compartments (615, 620, 625, .. ., 655) is based at least in part on the measurements of the angle of arrival and the propagation delay; receiving, from an MME (122), a geographical compartment control message (500) that includes an average angle of arrival window parameter (515) and a propagation delay window average parameter (525); for each of the candidate geographical compartments (615, 620, 625, ..., 655), determine a mean distance for the candidate geographic compartment that is included in the performance data of the geographical compartment (710, 740), in which the distance mean is determined as a standardized average of the average of the candidate geographic compartment and the average of compartments of candidate geographical compartments (615, 620, 625, ..., 655) adjacent according to the mean parameter of arrival angle window (515) and a propagation delay window average parameter (525).
