Pesticide compositions to combat arthropod, snail and nematode pests

A pesticidal composition in the form of a water-absorbent granulated material containing i) from 0.001 to 10% by weight of at least one organic pesticidal compound, ii) from 80 to 99.999% by weight of at least one granulated superabsorbent polymer, and iii ) water, in which the percentage by weight is based on the total weight of the composition, with the exception of water and in which components i) and ii) constitute at least 90% by weight of the composition, with the exception of water, the water-absorbing granulated material can be obtained by a process comprising the fluidized bed spray coating of superabsorbent polymer granules with a liquid aqueous composition containing the at least one organic pesticidal compound, wherein the superabsorbent polymer is a cross-linked copolymer of ethylenically unsaturated monomers M, in which the monomers M comprise at least 90% by weight, based on the total weight of monomers M, of a mixture of at least enos a monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid CA or a salt thereof and at least one amide of a monoethylenically unsaturated acid AM, or a mixture of at least one monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid CA and at least one alkali metal salt of a monoethylenically carboxylic acid unsaturated CA.
