A penile prosthesis (20), comprising: a penile implant (22) that can be inserted into a cavernous body; a deposit (24); a pump (26) that can be connected between the penile implant (22) and the reservoir (24), and that can operate to move fluid from the reservoir (24) to the penile implant (22) in order to inflate the penile implant (22); a deflation assembly (28) independent of the reservoir (24) and connectable between the pump and the reservoir, the deflation assembly (28) enclosing a valve that selectively limits fluid displacement from the penile implant (22) to the deposit (24); wherein the deflation assembly (28) comprises a base (62) and an activation surface (64) opposite the base (62), the activation surface (64) including a central activation area (72) and a peripheral outer rim (70); and wherein the activation surface (64) is movable to move the valve in order to allow the displacement of the fluid from the penile implant (22) to the reservoir (24) characterized in that the deflation assembly (28) it is independent of the pump (26) and because the central activation area (72) is depressed in a concave configuration with respect to the outer peripheral rim (70).
