ULTRA-VIOLET LIGHT WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR BATHING UNITS

A ultra-violet (UV) water treatment system for treating water in a bathingunit is described. Thesystem has a reactor unit, a power unit and a mounting fixture disposedbetween the reactor unit andthe power unit configured for facilitating mounting of the UV water treatmentsystem to the bathingunit. The reactor unit comprises a housing, an inlet for receiving water intothe housing and an outletfor expelling water out of the housing and a UV light source disposed withinthe housing andconfigured to radiate UV light into the housing. The power unit is configuredto power the UV lightsource and is disposed at an end portion of the reactor unit and includes anenclosure holding asocket connectedly receiving the UV light source and a ballast connected tothe socket.
