LOCALIZATION PROCESS FOR AT LEAST ONE RAIL VEHICLE IN A RAIL NETWORK

A method of locating a railway vehicle (12) in a railway network (10) comprising first detection devices (16) detecting the passage of a railway vehicle (12) in a first perimeter (P1), second devices detection device (18) detecting the passage of a railway vehicle (12) in a second perimeter (P2) and a centralized server (22). The method comprises detecting by one of the first detection devices (16) the passage of said railway vehicle (12) and transmitting a first detection signal (S1); detecting by one of the second detection devices (18) the passage of said railway vehicle (12) and transmitting a second detection signal (S2); and receiving the signals (S1, S2) by the centralized server (22) and determining the position of the railway vehicle (12) on the railway network (10) by intersecting the first perimeter (P1) and the second perimeter (P2 ).
