The present invention relates to a respiration training system for maximizing therapeutic effects on a patient undergoing respiratory gated radiation therapy by accurately measuring a respiratory cycle by means of a permanent magnet device and a magnetic field sensor for measuring the density of magnetic force lines. The respiration training system comprises: a band (20) adjustable in length so as to be worn on a subject; a permanent magnet (40) attached to the band (20) to generate a magnetic field; and a sensor unit (30) which is disposed to face the permanent magnet (40) in the band (20) and is provided with an MEMS sensor (32) for measuring a positional change by calculating a vector value indicative of a sensed magnetic field of the permanent magnet (40).
