The multilayer permanent magnet biased magnetic suspension unit comprises a permanent magnet biased radial magnetic bearing (1) and a floating ring (2); the permanent magnet biased radial magnetic bearing (1) comprises at least two parallel magnetizers; a plurality of first magnetic poles (13) is provided inside at least one of the magnetizers; each first magnetic pole (13) is wound with a first exciting coil (14); a permanent magnet is provided between two adjacent magnetizers; and the floating ring (2) is located in a space formed by two adjacent magnetizers and the permanent magnet provided between the two adjacent two magnetizers. According to the multilayer permanent magnet biased magnetic suspension unit, the floating ring (2) is provided in the space between two adjacent magnetizers of the permanent magnet biased radial magnetic bearing (1) and the permanent magnet, the space is fully utilized, the floating ring (2) and the permanent magnet biased radial magnetic bearing (1) form an assembly, so that the structure of the magnetic suspension motor is more compact, and the magnetic suspension motor is convenient to assemble.
