EVALUATING METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIATING BETWEEN SLOW MUSCLE AND FAST MUSCLE USING MRI

By employing q-space imaging (QSI) to devise a pulse sequence system and the conditions thereof it is possible to differentiate between slow muscle and fast muscle by using mean displacement, kurtosis and probability at mean displacement as parameters. This makes it possible to provide a non-invasive method for typing skeletal muscle.
