A device for estimating the likelihood of becoming drowsy (1) comprises: a sensor (2) that detects at least one of data relating to the heat from a person, and the surrounding environment of that person; and an estimating unit (3) that estimates for each individual the degree of likelihood that a person will become drowsy, such estimation performed on the basis of the sensor (2) detection results.
