A light supplementing control method, which is applied to supplementing light for a camera of an unmanned aerial vehicle, and which comprises: firstly providing a control signal (10), the control signal being a periodic signal, and each period comprising a turn-on period and a turn-off period, wherein an exposure period of the camera is completely encompassed within the turn-on period, and the frequency of the control signal is N times a sampling frequency (20) of the camera, N being an integer not less than 2; and further controlling the turning on and turning off of a light-supplementing light source by means of the control signal. Further provided are a light supplementing control module and an unmanned aerial vehicle. The quality of aerial image collection is improved, and the accuracy and the stability of an aerial vehicle interaction process in a low-light environment are ensured. In addition, the level of comfort of an observer's eyes is improved. Moreover, the power consumption of a light-supplementing light source can be reduced, and dissipated heat is further reduced, thus ensuring the stability of a control system and prolonging the service life of the aerial vehicle.
