This supercritical fluid chromatograph is provided with an analysis flow path, a mobile phase solution sending unit, a masking fluid solution sending unit, a specimen injection unit, an analysis column, and a back-pressure adjustment unit. The mobile phase solution sending unit sends a mobile phase into the analysis flow path. The masking fluid solution sending unit sends a masking fluid into the analysis flow path. The masking fluid is a fluid for imparting, to the inner surface of metal piping that forms the analysis flow path, an action for suppressing adsorption of a metal adsorptive substance. The specimen injection unit injects a specimen into the analysis flow path. The analysis column is provided above the analysis flow path, and is used in order to separate the specimen injected into the analysis flow path by the specimen injection unit. The back-pressure adjustment unit is provided to the downstream end of the analysis flow path, the back-pressure adjustment unit adjusting the pressure within the analysis flow path.
