A nanoporous metal/metal oxide hybrid structure material, a preparation thereof, and an energy storage application thereof, which relate to the field of nano-micron functional materials. The material is essentially a core-housing structure or a load structure; the material of an outer housing or a load is a nano material; an inner core or a carrier is a three-dimensional bicontinuous mesoporous material, specifically being a hybrid material of a metal and a metal oxide. By using in-situ preparation by using an electrochemical alloy path, a nanoporous metal/metal oxide hybrid functional material having unique structural features is successfully prepared, and the material shows excellent energy storage performance as a super capacitor or a negative electrode material for a lithium ion battery.
