DEPENDENCY ANALYSIS DEVICE AND DEPENDENCY ANALYSIS METHOD

A morpheme analysis unit (10) divides a sentence included in text data into morphemes. A chunking unit (11) converts the morpheme sequence of the sentence into a clause sequence. An all-sentence analysis unit (12): analyzes the dependency of one clause on another for all sentences included in the text data in order of increasing number of clauses beginning with a sentence having the smallest number of clauses; and sets, in a tree corpus, a dependency rule indicating the dependency structure of one clause on another that was determined through analysis and a statistical quantity of the frequency of dependency of one clause on another. An extraction unit (13) extracts the dependency rule and the statistical quantity from the tree corpus.
