Embodiments of the present invention provide a real-time animation display method and device, an electronic terminal, and a readable storage medium. The real-time animation display method comprises: obtaining, when an interface is started, an image link of a link array formed by a plurality of images corresponding to a dynamic picture required to be displayed in the current interface; sending an image download request to a server according to the obtained image link; receiving the plurality of images corresponding to the download request, and separately storing the plurality of downloaded images in an image dictionary; generating an image array for storing the plurality of downloaded images; obtaining the images in the image dictionary according to an order corresponding to the link array, and storing the images in the image array; and dynamically displaying the plurality of images in the image array in the current interface to achieve an animation effect.
