The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tobacco extract that, when used in a non-combustion flavor inhaler, does not generate insoluble particles in, e.g., a liquid mixture, suppresses scorching of the heat source, and can also restrain changes in smoke flavor. Provided is a tobacco extract produced by solvent extraction, with a suitable organic solvent, of a fraction yielded by the steam distillation of all or a portion of a tobacco plant, and removal of the organic solvent.
