Provided are a vaporization core (100) and a vaporizer (500). The vaporization core (100) comprises an outer housing assembly (10) having a vaporization chamber (11), and a vaporization assembly (20) accommodated in said vaporization chamber (11); said vaporization assembly (20) comprises at least one oil-storing member (21) and at least one heat-generating part (22); said oil-storing member (21) comprises at least one oil-absorbing surface (23) serving as its outside surface; said heat-generating part (22) is joined to at least a part of the outside surface of the oil-storing member (21) different from the surface of said oil-absorbing surface (23). The fitted surface of the vaporization core (100) and vaporizer (500) and the heat-generating part (22) and oil-storing member (21) is relatively large, and are capable of coming into contact with the oil-storing member (21) over a large area, such that the oil smoke is fully vaporized and the oil-storing member (21) is not prone to burning.
