Preparation methods and administration methods for a drug for treating hernias, comprising preparation methods and administration methods for a drug for treating hernias in adults and children, wherein the drug for adults may be made into granules or a capsule; the drug for children may be made into a powder, and some glucose powder may be added during administration such that the drug is easy for children to take. The drug may prevent poisonous gases from poisoning the small intestine, enhance intestinal muscle function, promote small intestine peristalsis, and enhance intestinal gas discharge, having a curing rate of above 90% for both children and adults; the preparation method may remove the bitterness of the drug and prevent adults/children from refusing to take the drug because of the bitter taste; moreover, the administration methods are diverse, and may meet the requirements of different administration methods for patients, having wide applicability.
