An upturn support device and folding furniture which has the upturn support device, the upturn support device comprising a base (1), an upturn support mechanism (2), a fixing mechanism (3) and a buffer mechanism (4) mounted on the base (1), wherein the upturn support mechanism (2) comprises an upturn support assembly (21) and a rotating member (22) rotatingly disposed on the base (1); one end of the upturn support assembly (21) is hinged with the fixing mechanism (3), and the other end thereof is connected to the rotating member (22); and the rotating member (22) is in contact with the buffer mechanism (4). The described upturn support device is simple and stable in structure, easy to operate, and labor-saving.
