A cash box and a cash circulation processing device, the cash box comprises a frame (001), a holding plate (100), a driving mechanism (200) and a synchronous moving mechanism (300), wherein the frame (001) is provided with a banknote accommodation space, and the banknote accommodation space is provided with an access port for banknotes; the holding plate (100) is disposed in the banknote accommodation space and is configured to support the banknotes; the driving mechanism (200) is in transmission connection with the holding plate (100) and is configured to drive the holding plate (100) to move along a direction close to or far from the access port; and the synchronous moving mechanism (300) is separately connected to the holding plate (100) and a side wall (400) of the banknote accommodation space and is configured such that the holding plate (100) is always moved in a state perpendicular to a moving direction of the holding plate (100).
