An ostomy system, accessory device, and server device is disclosed. A server device (10) for an ostomy system (1) of a user is disclosed, the ostomy system comprising a monitor device (6), an ostomy appliance (2), and an accessory device (8), the ostomy appliance comprising a base plate (4), the server device comprising a memory; one of more processors; and an interface coupled to the one or more processors and configured to communicate with the accessory device, wherein the one or more processors are configured to obtain accessory data and associated base plate identifiers from a set of accessory devices; obtain a base plate identifier of a base plate from the accessory device; determine a first base plate parameter of the base plate based on the base plate identifier; and transmit the first base plate parameter to the accessory device.
