Provided are a lithium composite metal compound having excellent cycle characteristics when used in a battery material, a lithium-secondary-battery positive electrode active material using the same, a positive electrode using the same, and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same. In this lithium composite metal compound, which is shown in composition formula (I), a micropore physical property value found from a nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherm measurement at liquid nitrogen temperature satisfies conditions (1) and (2).
