The objective of the present invention is to reduce the load required for inspection work in a logistics process. This sorting support device is provided with: an input unit for inputting a transmission image obtained by irradiating an inspection target with electromagnetic waves; a storage unit which stores a plurality of learning models each optimized for at least one article and associated with an assumed usage condition; and a determining unit which selects one of the learning models on the basis of a specified usage condition, and uses the learning model to determine whether the one or more article is contained in the inspection target.
