The present invention relates to a food composition containing an extract of roasted Arctium lappa roots or roasted Platycodon grandiflorum roots, and a manufacturing method of the food composition. Specifically, the present invention relates to a food composition in a jelly form, in which the bitter taste of Arctium lappa roots or Platycodon grandiflorum roots is reduced, and efficacy and antioxidant activity are further improved while the savory taste and the convenience of ingestion are improved.
