The present invention relates to a method to manufacture 1-deoxynojirimycin combined with one glucose by transferring one glucose to an existing 1-deoxynojirimycin (DNJ) compound. To this end, alpha-glucanotransferase consisting of amino acid sequences represented by a sequence No. 2 is used to transfer one glucose to the DNJ compound so as to manufacture new G1-DNJ compound. According to the present invention, the G1-DNJ compound inhibits hydrolysis capacity of alpha-glucosidase in comparison with an existing DNJ and does not inhibit alpha-amylase, meaning that the G1-DNJ reduces side effects (alpha-amylase inhibition) of the existing DNJ and is able to be actively used as an antidiabetic.
